Solidier Side , written and sing by Malakian, is the last track on System of a Down's album Hypnotize (the second half of the Mezmerize/Hypnotize double album). Soldier Side' continues where the intro on the first part of the double album Mezmerize leaves off and finishes the double album set. The song focuses on modern war, hence the title. It has many bleak lyrics refering to God and the reality of war.
